Mrs B and I are leaving for San Fransisco/Napa Valley/Sonoma Valley area tomorrow. I'm getting excited. I just want to see those damn sea lions!
We are going to meet Michael B there and do a little wine country and a little Frisco for about 4 days. I'll come back with some wine-stained red-toothed pictures, I'm sure.
Talk to you guys next week!

Rack 'Em Rack Bar
My little sister introduced me to Willie James "Rack Em Rack Bar" Huff some time ago. He has become quite the Georgia cewebrity. This only solidifies the fact that I need to get a pet homeless-man that is filled with the Holy Spirit.

They grow up so fast
As of now, Mr Peepers CAN FLY!!!! Like really fly! I was watching him from the window one day and he just TOOK OFF! He flew up to this light pole and was hanging out with another pigeon. Then he just came back! (that's him on the left.)
I know, I know, birds do that. It's what they do. They fly. I shouldn't have been so excited.
Now, he takes off and goes places and comes back to hang out. He is just like our friend-bird. Everyone who has met him goes out on the balcony saying that they don't want to touch him 'cause he's so nasty and all that hoo-hah. Next thing you know they are kissing and hugging up on him in no time. You just can't help it. He's a good bird. Brandy did a fine job raising that one.

The Imposter
So, I was returning home from running at Audubon Park the other day and when I pulled into my driveway, I noticed something moving on the ground. Oh, Mr Peepers! He must have learned to fly! But he looked a little limpy or hurt or something. So, I scooped him up and took him back upstairs to the balcony only to find the REAL Mr Peepers staring right at me. I was holding some nasty street bird with no home training. EEWWW!
After calling Brandy with my free hand and asking her what to do, street-bird was quickly returned to the ground. We didn't want another bird. Like Bran said, we just have to let nature take it's course.....this time. He has been lingering around for days now. Just sitting on the steps or near the driveway everyday when we leave or come home. I just walk around him and ignore him like he's a homeless person. We have enough going on with Peeps.
I guess the word in pigeon world is that Mr Peepers has it good because they all just sit around on rooftops and stare at our balcony. We are constantly surrounded. Everybody just wants the good life like this fellow has.
