Stop spreading the news.....

I recently got back from my annual buying trip to New York. It is one of the highlights of the year for me because I like it there. My pulse rises a bit.

Had some great meals at The Russian Tea Room (see the gorgeous gaudiness below!), CraftSteak (owned by Tom from Top Chef), Rare, and Carmine's.



Saw some silly Top Model chick in a runway show hosted by Cojo (ewwww!), saw Mickey Rourke (ewwwww!), watched that Christian Audigier guy (yeah, ewww!) cutomize some trashy Ed Hardy shirts. We missed Paris Hilton by a few minutes. I would have loved to hear her baby-talking......"mimi ma mi mo mimi"





Throw in some sight seeing and some good swag and that sums it up.

It's always a good time. I just want Brandy to come with me next time. It's a way to experience NY in a way that I wouldn't normally get to. It's nice to be wined and dined, dammit.

New Accessory

I can now understand ONE thing about this girl. I understand that death grip that she has on that iphone.



I got one recently and it's like heroin. One taste and you are hooked. I have even neglected my poor blog (as kenny pointed out) because my face is drawn to that screen like a moth to a flame. It does every-damn-thing! Maybe the new will wear off soon and I can get back to my normal life.

Road Trip!

So, someone discovered an albino pink dolphin (Pinky) south of Lake Charles, LA in Lake Calcasieu. I want it. I can keep it in my tub and hose it down and feed it Skittles and we can blow bubbles together.

Now all I need is a can of tuna and a big net.....

Post Mardi Gras

So, you know that kid in the video on the last post? Yeah.

My Mardi Gras recap will be short.

Partied like 20 year olds. Lost half of our shit. Don't remember much. Will do it all again next year even though we swore not to.

Recession hits in New Orleans

Times are getting harder, indeed. Not 2 months ago, a sign beside the ghetto car wash that I use had the same thing for $150. Man, people are feeling it all over.
