While visiting the local WalMart in Columbus, Ms last week I ran across this beauty in the parking lot. I tried to get my brother or sister to take my picture sliding across the hood. They thought it would be best if I didn't.

I would bet my first-born that I know what the horn sounds like!

Our year started with house guests. After having such busy worker bees as Kenny, Christie, and Kevin as past guests, we expected to get LOTS of things done with Michael, Erin, and Andoe around the house. I guess that trend was broken with this bunch of yahoos.

That's okay. We were here to ring in the new year. THAT we can do. So, I found a partner in crime for the night who (when I told him that I was thinking of making myself a "Party Animal" T-shirt with a magic marker) had his very own Erin-made "Party Animal" T-shirt. So we rocked it.

After lots of Champagne, $80 worth of sparklers and smoke bombs, and Timmy's house we were done. Happy 2009 bitches. Another rough one.

Just wanted to say stank you for all of the many birthday wishes I received today. Those of you who did not.....well. Mark your calendar for next year.

WTF!?!?!

As you probably know, we got snow and it was quite a shock! It lasted from around 7am to lunch time. Everyone seemed to be in a warm, fuzzy, Christmas mood until late afternoon when you could hardly tell that it had snowed AT ALL. Totally gone. But it was fun while it lasted!

Do You Know What It Means......

I was reading this article in the Gambit (local paper) about a TV show that was filmed in New Orleans in the late 80's. It was centered around a restaurant in the Treme area that supposedly "captured" the flavor of New Orleans perfectly. I was not familiar with it so of course I had to YouTube it. It was called "Frank's Place" and I must say, they did a pretty damn good job.

It was literally rescued from a dumpster in Hollywood and they are working to get it released on DVD maybe as a box set or something. The problem seems to be that a lot of the music and the theme song (by Louis Armstrong) would have to be purchased again for a DVD release. I would buy it.

Yeah, some of the acting is crap. But I think everyone who has ever been here can appreciate it.
